Creator earnings: three streams

Your book lives in the Forgeon catalog—readers discover it in the app and on the web. You set the price, and each sale grows your earnings. We’re on your side: a straightforward reward model so you can focus on the story while we help it reach readers.

Readers can subscribe to Forgeon Premium. Part of net subscription revenue goes to an author pool; each author’s share depends on reader interest in their books, including reading points under program rules. Public materials state that up to half of that revenue may fund the pool—actual parameters depend on settings and reporting periods.

• The pool is funded from paid subscriptions; distribution reflects audience engagement.
• Accruals use completed UTC days and appear in your dashboard.
• This complements direct sales: Premium subscribers support the ecosystem while authors share the pool.
• Rules and shares may change—watch the payout policy and announcements.
• Ad revenue on the platform is monetized by Forgeon separately and is not included in the Forgeon Premium author pool.

Your personal link includes a ref parameter—invitees can name you at sign-up or before their first payment, and only active authors can be inviters. Your bonus for a qualifying first payment is usually $1 by default; with a large audience we can agree on a higher rate (see “Do you have an audience?” below).

• Invitees often get a discount on their first Forgeon Premium or Author Plus invoice—typically $1 when the program and checkout allow it.
• Your reward follows the rate saved on your author profile—most often $1; after approval it may be $1.50, $2, $3, and so on. Payout to your balance is delayed by 7 days to allow for full refunds.
• One reward per inviter–invitee pair; you cannot name yourself or a non-author.
• Copy your personal link from the author account page in the dashboard.
• The program may be changed or paused; platform and payment provider rules apply.
