Forgeon, Inc.

1. General

These Content Placement Rules (Content Policy) govern requirements for content that authors publish on the Forgeon platform (forgeon.art), including the website, mobile apps, and related services (the "Platform").

By publishing content on Forgeon, you agree to follow these Rules.

The Platform is available to users aged 13 and older. Users under 13 may use the Platform only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. See also the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Forgeon may remove content that violates these Rules and block author accounts. Additional terms for authors are in the Publisher / Author Agreement; general rules are in the Terms of Use.

2. Responsibility for Content

Authors are fully responsible for the content they publish on Forgeon.

Forgeon is not the author of your content and is not liable for materials published by authors, but Forgeon may moderate content.

Users may report violations through support or at support@forgeon.art. Complaints and requests to resolve disputes go to support; Forgeon reviews them within reasonable time.

Forum and other user-generated content (UGC): posts, topics, and attachments on the forum and similar community areas are created by users. The same general requirements of legality and respect for others' rights apply; moderation may include removing material and restricting accounts.

3. Prohibited Content

The following is prohibited on Forgeon:

3.1 Pornographic content

Pornographic photo and video material is prohibited, including:

  • pornographic images;
  • pornographic video;
  • sexual scenes involving minors;
  • material that violates applicable law.

Textual 18+ content is allowed when properly labeled.

3.2 Copyright-infringing content

The following is prohibited:

  • books for which the author lacks rights;
  • images used without permission;
  • music used without permission;
  • video used without permission;
  • video with background music that infringes copyright;
  • any material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.

You must have all necessary rights to the content you publish.

3.3 Illegal content

Content is prohibited if it:

  • violates applicable law;
  • promotes violence;
  • promotes terrorism;
  • contains threats;
  • contains fraudulent schemes;
  • contains malicious software;
  • contains viruses or harmful code.

3.4 Spam and abuse of the Platform

The following is prohibited:

  • mass spam posting;
  • artificially inflating read counts;
  • artificially inflating subscriptions;
  • creating fake accounts;
  • attempting to defraud the payout system;
  • ad manipulation;
  • any attempt to hack the Platform.

4. Content moderation

Before a book is released for sale or public access, Forgeon may review materials (including images and video) for compliance with these Rules and applicable law. Publication may be delayed or rejected until violations are fixed.

Forgeon may:

  • review images and video before publication;
  • reject publication;
  • require changes to content;
  • remove content;
  • restrict access to content;
  • block an author account.

If you believe content was removed by mistake, you may appeal via the contact form or at support@forgeon.art.

5. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you own copyright and believe your content was posted on Forgeon without permission, you may submit a complaint. The process follows 17 U.S.C. §512 (DMCA).

Your complaint should include:

  • your name and contact information;
  • a description of the copyrighted work;
  • a link to the material on Forgeon;
  • confirmation that you are the rights holder;
  • a statement that the information in the complaint is accurate.

Forgeon may remove or restrict access to content upon receipt of a valid complaint.

If you believe your content was wrongly removed due to a DMCA notice, you may send a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. §512(g), including the required information and consent to court jurisdiction. Guidance and samples are available from the U.S. Copyright Office. Send counter-notices and related correspondence to legal@forgeon.art.

Incomplete or unclear copyright notices, and disputes about whether content is allowed, may be sent to support; Forgeon may request missing information or suggest how to resolve the situation.

6. Violations and blocking

If these Rules are violated, Forgeon may:

  • remove content;
  • issue a warning;
  • temporarily block the author;
  • permanently block the author;
  • freeze payouts.

7. Changes to these Rules

Forgeon may change these Rules at any time. The updated version is published on the Forgeon site. The current version is available at /content-policy.
